After a challenging divorce from a domineering man in 1999, I’ve transformed from someone who white-knuckled driving across a bridge, to someone traveling (mostly solo) to all 7 continents just to fulfill a dream of seeing all 17 species of penguins in the wild.  At the insistence of friends, I wrote and published a book, Penguin Quest:  Penguins of the World (Trafford Publishing).

I’m now working on my second book, challenging myself to return to all 7 continents with a goal of photographing at least 7 manmade and 7 natural wonders of the world, including the 7 summits. The book will be titled, 7*7*7.  I’ve recently returned from Nepal and India (trekking to Everest Base Camp for a photo of Mount Everest, and Agra for a photo of the Taj Mahal).

For some years, I’ve been asked to create a blog of my travels to assemble my book(s).  This blog is the response to my friends and family who were interested in my journey(s).  I hope you enjoy traveling the world with me through this blog.
